Careers That Make a Difference
It only takes one unrelated adult to make the difference in the life of a child. In the field of home visiting, YOU have the opportunity to be that person.
Early childhood home visiting is a service delivery strategy that matches expectant parents and caregivers of young children with a designated support person who guides them through the early stages of raising a family.
Services are voluntary, may include caregiver coaching or connecting families to needed services, typically in the family’s home. Research has consistently shown that home visiting positively impacts maternal and child health, child welfare, and early education outcomes. Training is provided.
