Sacramento Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI)
The Parent Leadership Training Institute (PLTI) is an initiative designed to help you build yourself into the advocate you've always dreamed of being!
The Parent Leadership Training Institute helps parents and caregivers become strong advocates for children, families, and communities.
Sacramento PLTI offers free training for 20–25 participants, including:
• A retreat and 20 workshops
• Support to complete a community project
• Free on-site childcare
• Free family meals
• Transportation assistance

Family Advocacy and Mentoring Network
The Family Advocacy and Mentoring Network (FAM-Net) is an integrated approach to empowering parents/caregivers and community members, and connecting them to opportunities to advocate for their families and communities.
FAM-Net empowers community members to advocate for their families and communities. Includes the Academy on Community Action (ACA), an online program for parents, caregivers, and community members to build skills and make positive changes. Certification included!
