Families are more engaged with services when they see themselves represented culturally and linguistically within organizations and service delivery. These programs were created to meet the family’s needs. Families should be made aware of the cultural connections they have in their community.

Black Child Legacy Community Neighborhood Centers
Black Child Legacy (BCL) is a community-driven movement to reduce the deaths of African American children. Community Incubator Leads (CIL) organizations are available in seven neighborhoods in Sac County to support and foster healthy African American families.
